So here we are, almost at the weekend, finally. I just wanted to get people's opinions on personal websites for Realtors, and if they find them useful.

My business partner, David Duarte, has a website that was made for him, though it was auto-generated. I personally want to work with a company called Agent Image to make a new site and have that professional look in the industry. What are your thoughts?

This would be a very easy way to get points, so just simple comments on the website and what we should change, what you like, or what you dislike, would be great comments for David and I to learn.

Here is the website:

Thanks again,

4 Comments on Realtor Personal Websites? Good or Bad?

I dont think everyone should have one in my area. Then the people who dont lose all the business and I can have it all !! :)

Anyways yes you must have one. Yes the design and functionality is important but I dont think it has to be super fancy to get the job done. Sometimes fancy sites are distracting. I dont like sites that play music or force a video down your throat when you go to them. I hate preview pages or front pages... just take me to the site !!

My simple page is located at www.yourchippewavalleyhome.com my new site i hope to have online possibly today is same address but designed by me using google sites. I suggest you check it out. You have total control of your design.

I really like the layout of your current page. Now is your "new" site going to be produced by google sites? And what exactly is that?

I am all about simplicity with a professional look. I am not very fond of the video or the flash intro's, i just want straight to the point as well.

That site I mentioned was done for free with work by me using google sites. I am currently looking into a CMS content management system? called Joomla! I should have my new new site up shortly. I have just been busy with normal work. Your current site looks good though. I just like being able to tweak things myself here and there.

Thanks for that. I think the site is ok but I would want a custom one I could tweak as well. Let me know when your site goes online, I would really like to see it.
