Upchurch Farms is a relatively new neighborhood of approximately 250 homes off Jenks Carpenter Road in Cary, NC.  Upchurch Farms also borders the rear of the Davis Drive School campuses.      

Raleigh and North Carolina State University are a 30 minute commute.  The Research Triangle Park, "RTP," is about 20 minutes.  Heavy drive-time traffic may affect commute time.

The neighborhood was developed starting in 2001 by New Fortis Corporation and Westminister Homes, now KHovnanian.  Approximately half the homes are detached traditional and transitional single family homes, with the balance being townhomes. 

A new phase of Upchurch Farms is under development and should be available soon. 

Typical Single Family Home amenities include 2400 to 4200 square feet, two story foyers, 4 to 5 bedrooms, 2.5 to 4 baths, separate formal areas, gas log fireplaces, hardwood floors, walls of windows to light the home, .2 to .37 acre lots, 2 car garages, dual-zone HVAC with natural gas heat, and a suburban cul-de-sac style street development. 

Upchurch Farms townhomes range from 1500 square feet to over 2000 square feet.   You can expect 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 stall garages, central AC, gas heat and gas log fireplaces, and low maintenance exteriors.

School assignments are among some of North Carolina's top schools, Davis Drive Elementary, Davis Drive Middle, and Green Hope High School.  School assignments are subject to change by Wake County Public Schools.  More information on Wake County Public Schools.

Upchurch Farms has a Homeowners Association.  HOA dues include the beautiful community swimming pool, common area maintenance.  Dues are $35.00/month for single family homes and $102/month for townhomes with exterior maintenance.

Home sales currently fall in the $350,000-$410,000 range for single family homes, and $220,000 to $250,000 for Townhomes.  Property taxes are approximately 1% of the property's assessed Tax Value.  More information on Wake County property taxes.

Note:  It would appear that neighborhood residents are observant and alert to visitors.  I have taken hundreds of photos of neighborhoods for posting online.  In a few minutes in Upchurch Farms, I was asked twice what I was doing.  This was a first!  Kudos to alert residents!
