Linda Davis, Kim Wood's Blog MomI gained some helpful information at the Inman Connect San Francisco Conference last week. There is too much to share everything, so make sure you make plans to attend Inman Connect NYC in January!

Linda Davis had the most laughs & applause when speaking about blogging on her panel.

She said, "If you have a crappy business - a blog isn't going to help".

Blogging is very important to marketing today. It's imperative that you reach the world with Internet Presence - what a better fit than blogging!

However, if your business isn't set up to handle leads and business - your blogging isn't going to be productive.

I would like to suggest some blog reads for you if you fit one of the following:

  • Your Business Needs taken to the Next Level
  • Your Business Needs a Makeover
  • You are just beginning bloggingTeam Manna
  • You are a new Real Estate Agent

The blogs I suggest you read are the Makeover2Takeover Contest Entries. The Makeover2Takeover contest was just completed with Team Manna (Desiree Daniels & Brian Block) as the winners. The contest is over, but the posts and information will last quite a while.  You will find many of the posts from week-to-week on the blog - take a piece from here and there - and watch your business grow!

Reading the blogs through the Makeover2Takeover profile is the best way to access them.

Kim,

It was so good to meet you - I picked you out of the crowd at Inman, and it was all because of your blogging and Twittering.  Congratulations on your accomplishments in the AR contest!

Kim - great advice, and can be applied to any sort of technology marketing (blogging, SEO, article writing, etc.)

Kim, Wasn't Makever2Takeover AMAZING?  I loved it. Are you caught up on your sleep yet?   I need to load a few of my entries still. Maybe I'll get that done tonight!  I love your new photo on your profile, BTW!  I hate it that I missed the Inman conference...do you think the one in NYC will be as good? (I have no clue).

Kim, it was great meeting you last week and Linda did have one of the best lines of the conference.  She's also a fountain of knowledge and I had the pleasure of spending a good deal of time chatting with her during Inman.  For those who missed or didn't follow the whole competition, I definitely agree that there's lots of great nuggets of information to be learned from readin gthe Makeover blog.
