Don't get too comfortable. Just because you might be sitting pretty with a decent rank on ActiveRain now doesn't mean that there isn't a newbie out there somewhere working diligently to take your spot. Don't stop blogging! I know things come up and you may have to be away for a few days due to an illness, vacation, or being busy with listings, but be sure not to allow too big of a gap between posts. The most you should allow is a week. I've seen blogs where the most recent post was in April! Just make sure that you keep writing something in your blog.

Good points, DeAnna, people must remember the google love won't last without posting and commenting regularly. It may take awhile for google to rediscover the "love" if you stop. Thanks.

Not only will you get behind in points but you won't be creating any content to be found online for future business

Blogging is funny.... your creative juices either run a muck or they just dry up.....I find once you start the momentum will just take over.  I was also told it had to be done everyday to keep on top of everything.

Jeff: Very good point.  I didn't think of that one.

Tracy: Good to hear from you as always.

Konnie: Thanks for the compliment.  I'm glad you like the purple.

June: I totally agree.  I've discovered that when I take a break, it is harder fro me to start back up.

It is especially important is you have a large subscriber base to add fresh content as often as possible. People lose interest in a blog and stop visiting if it doesn't have something fairly new to offer on a regular basis. As I maintain 2 blogsites and contribute to at least 3 others, I try to add something at least every other day.

I just joined Linkedin but really don't know how to go about using it to market a home I have listed in AZ (mls#2971243) and would appreciate any insight! Thanks for your time!

Sandy: One thing that you can do is mention your listing on the what are you working on portion of LinkedIn.
