I love fat.

Fat is fun to say. There are so many great fat things. A big fat firework!  (hot topic of the day I'll presume)  Fat babies!  Now who doesn't love a fat baby?  Ever seen a Yamagata painting?  Full of tiny little fat people.  I have one.  I love it. (not a tiny little fat person, but a painting by Yamagata!  Ha)  Love the fat people sculptures!  Those fat cats, too.  You can say FAT 20 times real fast and it still sounds like FAT.  Go ahead.  Now try it with handkerchief, you won't have a clue what's coming out of your mouth after 20 handkerchiefs, but fat, every time guaranteed.

Now I don't mean the PHAT the way that a Beastie Boy would say it.  I mean it the old fashioned way.

F -  A  -  T        I mean fat.

I even want to be F.A.T.!   I bet you know a lot of F.A.T. people.  Yeah, came up with some anachronisms for fat.

Fit And Trim. (That's an ironic one, had to laugh)

Fun  And  Terrific.

Fabulously Artistically Talented.  (ah hem, close to heart...)

Flush, Affluent, Tremendous

Fortunate, Auspicious, Tip-top.

Who wouldn't want to be F.A.T.?   What does this have to do with Real Estate?  Everything!  Real Estate is our business.  If we're successful at our job, at our career, then we will have the best fat thing ever.

Best of all, ... a fat bank account.  A big FAT bank account.  It's what we're working for.  So you love your job?  Great, good for you!  But you say that you're not in it for the money?  Come on.  First of all ask yourself this, would you do it for nothing if you had nothing?  Second of all, ask yourself to be serious.  Come on!  Money is what we're working for, the commissions, the deals, the breaks, the sales- it's money and it's going to fatten our bank account.

How do we get more?  We network.  Somebody asked me the other day if I would be willing to suggest to Greek people that they should buy in the states. Sure, if they want to have some property outside of Greece I think the US is ripe for the pickens.  But I remind you all in return, if your clients are looking for something outside of the US, some place safe and beautiful- then it's the rolling hills of the southwestern tip of the Peloponnese in Greece!  Please, Hellas Villas is the only name you'll need to know.  Let's help each other get the best fat.

www.hellasvillas.net   we're growing each day.  Currently have over 50+ plots of buildable land and 3 hotels and a few housing projects and homes for sale.

Happy 4th of July and may you all have a big fat festive celebration!

Randy, this post is awesome! I love the Fabulously Artistically Talented. I guess we're a lot alike! This is one fun post and I shall never say the word FAT again without a gentler meaning! I hope you had a great 4th of July!

Hi Debra,

Thanks for your comment in my blog about FAT.

I noticed you're in TX!
Ya know, I grew up in TX.  I went back once and it was like walking into a pizza oven!  Whew.  But you just get used to it, and all that AC helps.

Greece is hot and AC is not popular. Actually if a Greek has AC they purposely leave the door open.  OPEN!  Crazy huh?

But at least where we are on the tip here near the water there's a constant breeze. And on that note, it's time to take my son to sailing lessons.

Have a great day!
Cheers, Randy
