Best way to put it is you see a blog you like and get valuable content from the postings most of the time, but don't want to make a daily habit of checking for something new... Click the
usually located in your menu bar when the option is there for you. This will automatically set up an email alert in Outlook 2007 (which is what I use) and when the Blogger puts up new content you are alerted. Makes getting valuable information seemless...
Thought I would pass this along because in the last week or so I have been asked several times what it is and how it works.
Here is a really cool link as well...

- actually: in actual fact; "to be nominally but not actually independent"; "no one actually saw the shark"; "large meteorites actually come from the asteroid belt"
- in truth: in fact (used as intensifiers or sentence modifiers); "in truth, moral decay hastened the decline of the Roman Empire"; "really, you shouldn't have done it"; "a truly awful book"

SYNDICATION:
- Making information on a website available (preferrably in digest form) for a wide range of uses, prime examples of which are RSS and Atom feeds. Syndication is a great way of making news updates, blog entries and podcasts immediately available to a Web audience.
REALLY SIMPLE SYNDICATION:
- A data format for syndicating news and other content. People can subscribe to RSS feeds so they will be notified every time content is updated on a particular site.
Ricky, thank you for the simple information. I kind of understood RSS, and this really helped clarify.
