hoax

I just got an email from a friend with an amazing video I had never seen before. The story was that this machine was built as a collaborative effort by engineering students from two schools and that it took them over 13,000 hours to assemble and fine tune it. In truth, it's computer animaton, but it's a jaw dropper nonetheless. Let me know what you think.

Even though it is an animation, it is still quite an amazing effort.

Hi Tom, it is an amazing and great musical animation. I think I saw this first about four years ago. I read too much ; ) Kind of goes with this weekend's Pixar release of Wall E. Got to go see that.

Tom,  That is a cool video.  13,000 hours is a lot of time.  It makes you appreciate the time spent on computer generation movies we watch.

THIS is just about the coolest thing I've seen lately!  My 15 year old nephew is studying at the NC Governor's School this summer concentrating his study on math and music - those kids are Sooooo sharp - I could see them doing something like this!  Thanks Tom!

Very neat Tom! Amazing.....it reminds me of Brian Eno. Remember him? I used to listen to him in university days.
