Another, but maybe useful question about pay per click.

I am trying to research and see if pay per click is a good thing. My host company (advance access) has a program that helps get you started and gives you some training, but it does cost. Has anyone gone through this and was it helpful? Also, did it bring you more Customers or was it a waste of money?

I have tried redzee.com and realtytimes.com an I thing that advance access, might do a better job?

Thank you for your feed back

I've heard some good and some bad about Advanced Access. The number one complaint that I've heard from agents is that they are real good for about a month then Customer Service seems to forget who you are.

I've only just joined AR, but I've been advertising on Google for two years, www.yahoo.com and www.msn.com too but not so much-- and its radically changed my business for the better.  It was by far the numbe one source of business last year, it was also the "best business.  See my post at--thought it was in this group- not sute where it is, but my first post was a PPC post last night. but don't pay for espert help, go to the source, www.Google.com clik advertise, and begin with a low budget-$5  per day- and get started.  It will take you a while to get the hang of it, and the prospects don't show up at your doorstep on Monday, but they do show up and when they do it is very very sweet indeed.

Hey there. I am the senior account executive with Homes.com and we handle agent/office pay-per-click accounts as well.

Honestly PPC is a very bad thing if done incorrectly but if executed the right way, it can be the best thing you have ever done for your business. (Lead generation, brand recognition, popularity in the market) Most agents do not and should not have time to handle PPC on their own with the schedule you put yourselves under anyway so we do have a plan.

I hate to re-direct you, but please look at my site and look at Power Search Advantage. That is the way that we handle PPC. You will be under no obligation to leave your info with me, I am just tired of advertising and marketing having a bad rap.

Thanks. I hope to be able to help you.

PPC should be a last resort, put all your money in to your web site and getting organic search placemenet and you will never need to waste $ on PPC.

I did internet retail for 15 years before becoming a real estate agent.  I signed up for both Google & Yahoo pay-per-click a long time ago.  I cut off funding because of a money shortage a few years ago and noticed something horrable......I did not change a thing.

I was getting the same hits as before.  Pay-per-click made absolutly No difference in my sales.

I wasted about $10,000 over the last 10 years.

Live & learn.

I have heard the same things about pay-per-click. I have a competitor here in Baltimore (an Auction Company) that actually pays $1.00 for every CLICK!! OUCH! as you can imagine. That ad quickly vanished!
