The Apostle Paul wrote, "Think on these things, what is true and good and right.... Think about things that are pure and lovely," and dwell on the fine, good things in others.  Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about.

Learn to feed your mind with positive inputs.  When you make that investment of time to yourself, it will pay off in every part of your life. So I highly recommend that early morning practice, daily, will make a change in your positive intake.

List 2 ways you will FEED your mind positive inputs at breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner time.
And then do those things every day for 21 days until they become habits.

With practice and habit, things become normal patterns of life.

It's not just in thought, you must surround yourself with positive people that are true and good and minimize the people that bring negativity to your life.

Two things that I will implement are getting up at 5:30 everyday, and not having meals after 7pm. All day everyday, I will focus on the goodness of the Lord, and know that He has great things in store for me. I will be the best person that I can be, being slow to anger and quick to show love.

God Bless

Lu, this is very true.  We have to allow God to transform us and our minds, by focusing on the goodness and faithfulness of Him.  We have to open ourselves to God and ask Him to lead us this day, on the path He has for us, in His will and purpose for us.  Just because something, in general, is good, may not mean that it is for us.  God has a certain direction for us all.  We are all created different, with different skills and things we are drawn towards.  Ask God how He would have us fulfill His desires for us.  It isn't so much, what would Jesus do, but what would Jesus have each of us to do.  Thank you for the words of wisdom.  God bless.

Lu, thanks so much for the post and the inspiration. I have been working on my physical disciplines such as a vegan diet and exercise. But I need to work on the spiritual and emotional side. I am working on keeping God in ALL my thoughts throughout the day. I want to constantly have Him on my mind and always "run my thoughts by Him". What does the Lord think about this? What does He think about what I just did? This helps me to really feel His presence. Also, I have been getting feed from some wonderful folks and inspiring posts like this one, here on AR.
