Okay I know it must be simple but I have been searching ActiveRain for an hour looking for a blog that can answer my question.

Is there a way to feed my ActiveRain blog to my Wordpress blog without having to re-type it?

My goal is to blog once here and have my Wordpress automatically get it.

Thanks in advance to the tech-savvy AR-ers who answer without being too rough on me.

David, if there is, let me know.  I've cut and pasted a few times and have referred to blogs and then included a link.  One other thing, it's been recommended to me not to post exactly the same blog in two places as Google may decide one is spam or plagiarism.

I think you use feedburner. I opened a free account there but didn't set it up as I didn't want all my blogs going from one site to the other and didn't know if I had the time to figure out the overrides...or if it could do it.

If you don't mind all of the blogs feeding out, use feedburner. Just google it.

I have heard too many times that it is not a good idea to post the same "post" twice

David:  I am thinking that if anyone on Active Rain would know the answer, it would be Brad Andersohn.  Here is a link to Brad.  Active Brads Blog .  I am sure he will be able to help you.  Take care... tell Brad I said Hi !

I hope someone can answer this question besides just posting a link. I get good rankings from wordpress. If I blog on both AR and WP, WP seems to outrank.

Dave, I agree with Anne.  I hear that the search engines take away ranking if you double post content.  Just a thought to google that topic here on AR in the search que.  Best of Luck and Success!! SM

Hi David,

Apparently google does not punish double postings.  They will give the original posting the credit.  When double posting input the link to the oringinal post.  Your done.
