With so many training systems on the market for realtors such as Mike Ferry, Brian Rodgers, Craig Proctor, etc...I am not sure which ones are actually worth me purchasing.  So, my question to the Active Rain Network is have you ever purchased one of the many training systems for realtors?  If so, which one was it and was it worth the money you spent?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

I love David Knox.  It's not the same type of system as Proctor I don't believe.  I wrote a blog on this earlier today.  www.davidknox.com

Most of them offer free half day seminars as a way of introducing their program.  Attend a few and select the one best suited to your style.  Good luck!

N.Toni I purchased CP and I will tell you that from what I have seen the Mike Ferry offers way better coaching. You can't really compare the both they have different methods. I know that if you have a team or own a business CP teaches how to do that. If you wan't to build yourself up then you got to go with MF.

I have sent your post to my sister who used CP., so perhaps she can give you some unique insight. Since she works in Lake Havasu, AZ. which has a large population on vacation home owners or "weekenders" her situation was different & she found many of the techniques did not work for her. Again "Location" is a key factor.

Thank you everyone for your input:

LINDA - I will be reading your post on David Knox.  I have watched one of his tapes on the Buyer Consultation and I thought it was good...I actually totally forgot about him as an option.

NORMA - The only problem with that is that there don't seem to be any coming to my area anytime soon...LOL

ERA - I have actually heard some really good things about Mike Ferry so I will definitely be checking him out.

CLAUDIA - That is a great point...what works for you in your market may not work for me in mine, I will have to keep that in mind!

The bottom line is the program you work is the best.  If you're not a hard selling, cold calling machine, and don't want to be, Mike Ferry is probably not going to work for you.  IMHO
