Yes, it's true...I must confess. I have a new love in my life and I can not deny my feelings any longer. It all started on July 18th, 2007 when my family and I pulled into Charleston, South Carolina for the first time ever. My heart leaped at the haunting and historical sites, the coastal sounds and the delicious smells of southern cooking.

I may be an "outsider" or even worse...a Yankee! BUT, ya'll have made us feel very welcome and have invited us into your hearts and homes and for that I will always be grateful.  Somewhere in my past I must have some deep southern roots. My roots are tingling so it must be so.  

I took these pictures and would like to share them with you now. If you have never visited Charleston...you're missing something special.
