Mmmmmmmmmmidori... I love your concept and would love to do something with you re the pink campaign. I know we're all super busy but for stuff like this I'll make time. Real men do wear pink when it comes to cancer!

Hey Marti love the spotlights on other blog designers.  You know Blog Designers are becoming really hot right now and more and more people are diving straight to buying a blog instead of a website now.  Think next week you should do spotlights on Graphic Artists those guys really rock because lets face it you can have the best theme out there without a good graphic or header your toast.  Love the showcase on thinking pink, great awareness and once again great recaps.  Enjoy whats left of the Weekend!!

Cancer does suck Marti. I lost a friend, a mentor, someone I have worked with here in Crossville yesterday 2 weeks from being diagnosed. It's a very sad time and she will be greatly missed. How do I go pink ?

I love that there re so many free themes... and some of them are cool, but the flexibility and the additional quality of a paid theme (right out of the box) make them quite attractive.  Perhaps as I get more into the CSS and junk, the free themes might be more attractive to me...

Linda... helping people out is literally the best form of marketing, real relationships work long term. I seem to be extra busy tonight "pinking" people. AR will look kind of different in the next few days. ;-) Nite L...

Hi Marti - I hadn't realized that not all free templates can be used commercially. Will have to keep that in mind when I'm browsing. I'm really looking forward to your design tips next week. I've played a little bit with some of the PHP, but know just enough to be dangerous.

Im with you, brother....Cancer sucks!  My first wife was taken away from me by it, my mom, my aunt, 2 grandparents, and most recently, my mother-in-law have all been hit with one form or another. 

Advice for the masses -- VOLUNTEER FOR THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY!  They could use your help.

I use the Cutline theme (Chris Pearson, above) because I wanted to add my own header. It's been very easy to use and the layout has worked well for what I want my blog to do. The only negative is that I haven't found a way to reduce the font size of the page tabs or the title text at the top. I'd like the font to be smaller so it doesn't take up so much space above the header image. Maybe it's because I use the dot-com version of WP.

As usual, I love all your great ideas! Now I just need to find the time to get my outside blog designed. One thing I am good at is design. I truly amazing how you put all this together for us! THANKS!
