Mike,

Looks like a great neighborhood. I like the closeness to Umstead Park.

Susan,

I used to live there, before we got settled into W Cary.

It IS a good neighborhood, and prices are steady to rising.

I miss the location, being so close to Raleigh that we could be at the fairgrounds in 10 minutes and downtown in 15.

Maybe I should sell my son's condo in Chesapeake Place and buy a single family there.

Gene,

The homes are not high end, but they have plywood sub-floors, copper plumbing, copper wiring, and aluminum siding.

If the siding isn't beat up, the exteriors tend to be very durable.  Sure beats masonite siding.

We enjoyed living there, and the only reason we moved was to get a home with a few upgrades and a family room.

If you can find something in the $180,000's I would think it would beat the heck out of condo living.
