Evergreen is a small mature community of single family homes in Cary, NC.  Evergreen is situated north of the intersection of the Cary Parkway and Old Apex Road.  Entrance to the neighborhood is from SW Cary Parkway.

The North Carolina State Capitol, Raleigh is a 20 minute drive.  The commute to the Research Triangle Park, "RTP," is about the same.   Drive-time traffic may lengthen commutes.

The neighborhood was developed and built in the late 1980's by New Fortis Homes, now a division of K Hovnanian.  Evergreen is laid out in a suburban culdesac street development.   There are no through streets, so traffic is calm and the neighborhood is quiet.

Typical amenities include 2 or 3 bedrooms, vaulted ceilings, 1.5 to 2.5 baths, and electric heat pump heat.  Many ranch homes were built in Evergreen.  Evergreen home sizes range from 1020 square feet to 1500+ square feet.
