As a self-employed person I am responsible for my own health insurance.  I don't have a problem with that, but the pricing and what you get for what you pay can be a killer (literally).  I was insured by NataionalAssociation of Self Employed People for the past 4 years.  My monthly rate was $195 for insurance PLUS an additional $35 for monthly membership dues.  Just by accident (or was it coincidence) I was chatting with a home inspector (Andrews Home Inspection) and he mentioned that he used to have NASE insurance until he had a major injury happen to him and found out just how this health insurance worked OR RATHER didn't.  He researched health insurance and found an insurance broker who is fabulous!  I called the insurance broker up and had him come out to my home to give me insurance quotes and info.  WELL,  my new monthly payment is $159....and my insurance is 10 times better than what I had before!  So, call John Gulick up at 734.395.0936 and ask him to give you a quote on your health insurance...I still can't believe the savings and the peace of mind of better health insurance.

Perscription News- Wal-Mart and Kroger just announced that their $4 program on selected perscription drugs will now allow you to order for 3 months at a time at a total of $10/for 90 day perscriptions.  This is a savings of $2.  The old program only allowed you to order one month at a time at $4 each perscription per month.  Hey, every penny helps in today's economy!
