On March 27, 2008 AZ Governor Napolitano proclaimed the month April 2008 as Financial Literacy Month in Arizona.

We all know there is no better time to focus on financial literacy with the average consumers debt and foreclosures on the rise. Everyone should know how to create a realistic budget even though sticking to it can be hard at times. Maintaining a GOOD Credit Score can be tough for some to understand but still it is important to know how to do it. I also think that learning how to make Smart Financial Decisions should be a focus for EVERY Household.

It is wonderful that our Governor has set aside a month to focus on it but I believe every month is a good month to take time to understand where we stand financially and every day is a good day to learn because we, "adults" now will set the path for our children's future!!!

Have a wonderful and prosperous day!!!

I wish more people took the time to be educated instead they feed themselves a daily diet of tv and newspapers that spew bad news

Hi Dione just stopping by to say hello and I appreciate the inspiration behind AZ move to educate people on financial matters. Awareness is a huge benefit especially what we see happening in the mortgage industry these days and it's a great step forward to make people more aware. Go AZ!

Very easy reading and informative blog! Thanks and let's keep in touch since we're just a few states apart. Cheers!
