I have been swamped with some complicated year-end stuff for the last several weeks ... but I do have a new install of WordPress 2.5 running on a "practice" site   ... here http://www.clutteredshelf.com/

I had an idea.  Anybody want to play around with posting on 2.5 just to see what the new interface looks like?

If anyone does, just email me or leave a comment here, and I'll send you an author login.

Note this is a "sandbox"/"practice" site.  It's not one of my business related sites.  So don't worry.  You can feel free to post nursery rhymes, dummy text, or photos of your hamsters.  It doesn't matter.  And, Ted Baker, if you're reading this, your political commentary would be welcome there, too.  :-)

What's in it for me?  Heck, maybe somebody will click one of the AdSense ads.  :-)

And see what you think of the new "Add Media" tool for image insertation.

Hi CJ,

We have a 2.5 site up and running already. We decided to do a listing blog and it can be seen here at 17Marilyn Park Drive in Hampstead, NH.

It takes a little to get used used but I do like th ease of editing the blog style sheet, header, footer and etc...

I also like the ease of inserting images and media and files.

We will probably do a listing site this week.

Jay -- I do  like your use of that  "NeoClassical Theme"  .... It looks like it really adapts well to a listing blog.

Cheryl,

May I please?

I am trying to make the upgrade decision, and would love to play at it first.

Thanks for putting this offer out there.

Me too, a sandbox to play in, in this market sounds like a good place to be.

How easy/difficult was the upgrade?  With your help the last one was just replacing a couple of files.  I'm guessing that this one won't be as easy.

Cheryl - send on the author information. I'll come play in your sandbox. Hope it's as warm as the sand on our St Pete beaches.

Are you including me under nursery rhymes or dummy text?  My hamsters provide electricity to run my blog - photos are not in their contract.
