Michael - great job on your video. Thanks for the tip regarding movie maker - I have a question for you. I "created" a virtual tour on movie maker, changed transitions, effects, etc. however I noticed when I played it - the photos seemed grainy. Did I take them in too low of resolution?

Still photos will get somewhat distorted when you convert them into wmv files on Movie Maker.  You will want to use as high of a resolution photo as you can to start and then when you publish the movie, make sure you publish it by selecting the best quality setting option on the publish window.  One last thing to remember is when you play the WMV file on your computer, you are most likely watching it in your media player, the size of your computer screen.  When the presentation is streaming on a website, it will be in a much smaller format so you will not see the grain near as much.

I was hoping the competition wouldn't be too stiff, since I had NO time to put into doing my best work, but unfortunately, you've blown that hope =(  But this contest got me off my butt, to make a personal intro video, like I've been meaning to for a long time. So at least I'll have that... if it ever finishes uploading to WellcomeMat. If it doesn't finish soon, I'm to have to upload it to *ugh* You Tube!

Lisa:  Thanks for the kind words.  I post all my videos on YouTube as well as I have them hosted on my own site and some on Vimeo.  I like the quality of Vimeo much better then Youtube (and the ability to view full screen if needed).  Youtube videos seem to be a lot more grainy but you cant beat the amount of impressions your video gets from there.

Great way to promote an everyday real estate tool. A very important real estate tool, Which for us as Realtors it is easy to understand, however buyers take it for granted, because they can go anywhere online and find homes for sale. Your video gives a tool which is taken for granted a sense of urgency. Nice job.
