Here I am on a Sunday evening, and just finished washing the dishes after having a really nice Sunday dinner with my family. It was a family day, as my son was competing at a karate tournament at the University of Florida. I even had my phone off most of the day.

It's been a busy week...... a wonderful week!  I just had to share my good fortune because of Active Rain and it's effects on my business.  Here's my list for the week!!

I have been so busy, that I don't have time to BLOG !!!

#1 - This week I had a closing on Friday 3/28/07 that originally began from a listing prospect finding me via Google. They were searching for a Realtor in Gainesville and after reading my blog posts (via Google), they called me.   I listed their condo near UF in January. AND....the buyer of this condo was a direct call on a post "about this condo".   When you bring the buyer on one of your own listings and get "both sides" of a transaction - I call that a "birthday", as Realtors say it's rare to get both sides of a listing (once a year...birthday).  Well, this was an "Active Rain Birthday".  My first transaction that is totally from Active Rain's benefits and purpose! 

#2 - This week I got an email via Active Rain - it was from a prospective buyer (not a member of Active Rain) and the email from this buyer was from him finding some of my posts on LOCALISM.  This buyer is what I consider a "hot prospect" and came up from South Florida to view homes in the Gainesville area.

#3 - Mike Norvell, an Active Rain member sent me a referral a few weeks ago!  (Thanks Again Mike!) And this week.....these buyers now have a contract on their first home purchase.

#4 - The BUYERS are here and our active Gainesville real estate season has just begun !  Since last monday, I have gotten 4 buyers under contract for April closings.  AND 3 new committed buyers to work with this week.

My business is GROWING!  Just like Spring is blooming, the Spring buying season is blooming.  It's gonna be a great 2008.  I just can't seem to figure out how I can stay awake 24 hours hours a day.... I haven't had any time this week to post on my blog.  But, hey it's been a WONDERFUL, BUSY WEEK!
