Doug Winder has been married to Dawn since June, 1981 and they have 2 children. He is a charter member and past president of the Monticello Kiwanis club. He is a veteran, was a senior training engineer, a missionary in South America and is currently the preacher for the Monticello church of Christ. In his spare time Doug loves working in his yard and remodeling his home. He also works with a church camp during the summer, with youth throughout central Illinois and substitute teaches at Monticello Schools.
Charles "Charlie" Barre is married to Christy, a Nurse practitioner at Carle in
Monticello. Charles and Christy have 4 children and two grandchildren. Along with
serving piatt county as the Circuit Clerk, Charles enjoys golfing, is a District
commander of the American Legion, and a Big Brother in the Big Brother / Big Sister
program.
Theresa Blaylock and her husband Scott have lived in Monticello since 2004. Together they have one daughter, Alexandria, three step children Matt, Khristi and Jared, and three grandchildren they cannot get enough of. Theresa spends her free time volunteering around town andorganizing The Kiwanis Annual Free Fishing Derby.
Diane Stoltey and her husband Terry have lived in Monticello since 1984. They have four children, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Diane is the office manager for the Coldwell Banker office in Monticello. Both Diane and Terry love to spend their weekends DJ'ing parties and share a love for Jimmy Buffet music. They are... true blue parrotheads!
Bob Aherin was elected president of the Monticello Kiwanis club for the 2006 to 2007 year. Bob is married to Sue and they have two sons Ryan and Eric. They also have two grandsons that they adore. Bob has been active in our community. He was a member of Monticello Community Unit School District #25 board of education for 8 years. He is a founding member of the Monticello Area Education Foundation and served as the school board ex-officio member for the first 7 years of the Foundation. He is the treasure for the Monticello Church of Christ. Professionally he is professor at the University of Illinois in the department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. His area of teaching and research is agricultural safety and health. He is also a past president of the National Institute for Farm Safety. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
