Wisconsin has had it tough this winter I understand Steven.

I'm a huge fan of the cold and snow, but I must say, I have had enough this year.  We've not had a great deal of snow, but alot of ice storms and bitter cold.

You are not suppost to through fruit cakes into the compost bin.  They never brakdown.  You're supposed to give it to somebody that did you wrong at Christmas time HAHA!!!

Jennifer,

Stop rubbing it in! Okay, you win.

Chad,

Thanks for stopping by-I wonder what would happen to a fruitcake in an ice storm.

I'll be sending one your way soon!

LOL,

Steve

We in the midwest sure have paid our dues this winter, eh?!  I can not wait for Spring to get here ... at this point, I'll take a sunburn from snow shoveling!  :)

03/02/2008 08:35 PM by Derek Bauer, Associate Broker - Door To Dreams Team www.DoorToDreams.com (Real Estate One, Inc.)

Steve - We had a winter like we used to have years ago - more snow and cold temps.  We're all more than ready for Spring to shine on us.  Let's hope for an early one.

03/02/2008 08:35 PM by Lynn Johnson, Owatonna, MN Real Estate (Coldwell Banker Home Connection)

Derek,

I am with you. My file is dull from keeping the shovels sharp this year!

Lynn,

We are no strangers to the weather you talk about-lived all over in MN, and the only real difference in Winter there is how long it stays from the south to the north!

Joseph,

...it is pretty scary to see a lockbox coated in ice, isn't it-it could just as easily be anyone!

A month ago my granddaughter asked me why they took all of the water out of the lake and put in ice.  Yesterday she asked me when they are bringing the water back (she is 4) and we can go tubing.  We are all ready for spring here in Minnesota.

03/03/2008 09:29 AM by The Bartley Group - SouthEast MN Real Estate (Coldwell Banker Home Connection)

Thanks for sharing - being in the Southeast, our "signs" are a little different, but we all look forward to spring!

Bartley Group!

That is hilarious -- if it were only that easy, and we didn't have to do the whole winter thing!

How about #11: Your "For Sale" sign goes into the ground without needing to use a piledriver or dynamite

03/04/2008 10:01 PM by Kim Southern - Blue Ridge Real Estate (Century 21 Professional Realty Group)

Kim-

I prefer a backhoe, but the do tear up the lawn so much. Most subdivisions in Wisconsin don't allow blasting anymore.

That was too cute and too true!!  We had 57 here two days ago and yesterday some areas closed school due to the weather!

Sandra,

I am too old and too smart (?) for snow days...I think...Thanks for sharing a laugh!
