A huge component of staging is organization and getting rid of clutter--and I figure, why not apply that to my blog?

I've been blogging for just over a month now and the idea floodgate springs forth!  To keep it simple, for myself and readers, I'm going to start a "blog schedule" of posts.

Basically, I've sorted through the types of things I am (or will be) blogging and realized they actually do fall into categories.

So readers, cheer up!  Each weekday will now have a theme! (Don't you love a good theme?)

Check it out:

Monday Morning Marketing Meeting
Okay, an expensive education in marketing and communications deserves some airtime.  Almost every company I’ve worked with has instituted a Monday morning marketing meeting.  (And don’t get stuck in management…because then you get to tack on an extra two hours! YIKES!)  Most meetings lack one basic component:  take-away value.  Do you leave with something valuable?  Or was it  a  total time suck?  Fear not!  I’ll take the best-of the latest on the marketing horizon and blog it down to the basics.  Now that’s take away.

Tales of Tuesday
You guessed it…Tuesday’s feature is The Adventures of Staging Girl, where each week I highlight….well, check it out for yourself!

Wednesday’s Welcome to Baltimore
You’ll find tips, recommendations and a plethora of local good-to-knows in my Wednesday post.  Get ready to discover---or re-discover—the Baltimore/DC area!

Thursday’s Treasure Trove
If I could write an entire blog and dedicate it to fabulous finds, I would.  But alas, there’s many a blog that does just that….and I must stage on, of course!  Thursday will be a veritable check list of what’s hot in the blogosphere, products, ideas…you name it.  Yep, it’s a GOLD MINE!

Friday for Thought
Shared inspiration and stories, photo essays and more will be your intro to the weekend.  Grab a cup of jasmine tea and get ready for a good read.

Weekend Edition
While the weekend is when I compile and research next week’s material, I can’t say I won’t have the occasional surprise.  If it’s a must-post that can’t wait until it’s designated day, it’s prime pickin’ for the weekend edition.

Audrey -

I like your system, and try to use it for our own Blog Center.  I also have occaisional "News Flashes" of what is happening in the RE Market here in Chicago.   The best articles, I rewrite and repost for my AR Blog.

Take a look, and please share your thoughts -

Thanks for the "staging" structure, and the tips!

Audrey,  I like your lay out for your blog.  I find I have topics but don't have a schedule of when topics will be posted.  I need to consider doing the same as you.  Great idea.

Dean--I love Lil' Buddy!  Looks like your blog is full of useful Chicago info, perfect for potential clients :)

Dick--Ask for forgiveness later?

Christina--Thanks & Happy March!

Jimmy--I think it'll help funnel those ideas into more constructive posts.  But clearly this is a work in progress, so we shall see!

Audrey, this looks just great!  When I was a young mom, I had a daily schedule and stuck to it.  No luck on any of the blogging schedules I've created, though.  'Hope you have better luck.

Hi Audrey,
Good for you, wish I could get more organized with my blogging.  It's more like what is rolling around in my head goes.  BTW, welcome to AR and keep it going!

Audrey, This is what I have been lacking, a posting plan. I have a commenting plan and it works. So why not a posting plan. Thanks.
