So we are nearing the unveiling of the new web site, and struggling while brainstorming for a title for my blog.
Seems everyone has a "My Blog."
Kicking around whether to try to be catchy, but not wanting to obscure the nature of the content, so people don't miss that it IS "My Blog."
I like "My Two Cents." If it was 1972, that is...
"My Real Estate Blog"???? What if I ruminate about something else?
Hmmmm. Stuck on "My Blog."
Looking for other suggestions from the fertile AR land, at least to get the brain cells rolling...

Having the same problem. Trying to find a catchy name for my site as well. WIll sit here and see if any good ideas come along.
I had to laugh...I've been thinking about naming my baby "The View from the Cheap Seats" but don't know if those words are copyrighted because of the song..
I don't agree with Mike. I think a blog website is the wave of the future. The Seo experts are telling me to name the site a longtailed seo search term relevant to your area.
A day where I help someone laugh can't be an "all bad" day...
Russ,
Of course. Your SEO guys are selling what they have. Blogging has been "The wave of the future" for years now. The future is here. The wave, while strong, is cresting, IMO.
People weary of the wave and a fresh wave comes. I want to catch it before the crest.
Mike, I just went through this myself. I added my blog on to the rear end of my website. Since I cover 6 different areas I hated to pick one area over another one so I got really creative and decided to call it "blog". I decided sometimes simpler is better. Since it is the rear end of my website it is www.agentwithresults.com/blog
Hi Mike, a few weeks ago another real estate agent from the Rain contacted me about the same thing.
My "words of wisdom" were to look for a keyword rich, SEO friendly domain names for his blog, words that a home buyer/seller might be using to find homes in his city/area.
Out of curiosity I checked "His City"RealEstate.com and "His City"RealEstateBlog.com , believe it or not, both domain names were available. Sometimes, the simple but obvious stuff works best.
Agreed and Thanks. I'm having a little fun here, but the naming is serious business, for sure.
As much as TLW and I love "Real Estate Delirium," it isn't in the cards.
My blog will reside on my new site, and I am looking for a title for the button to the blog, and for the blog itself.
I serve several towns, Cary, Raleigh, Apex, etc, and 5 or 6 counties, so I am having a hard time keying to a geographical location, without unnecessarily limiting myself.
We have a winner, and the world will see it soon. Maybe by the end of the week.
My two cents is great but how about spell it sense! My 2 sense - a real estate blog. Then get yourself a cool blog banner & your all set! (Imagechef.com)
I usually get together with a couple of girls in the office & we just throw things back & forth until something cute shows up. We also critic our websites the same way to polish up all the boring closing stats. Good Luck, maybe a cocktail will help?
I think you are an incredibly creative guy - a visionary - an individual. I respect you for that. Unfortunately an agent from your office that used to be w/FM copied my website and content. Kind of below the belt. What do you think about that?
Musings and meanderings around the North Carolina Triangle area, with pithy stuff about the Raleigh and Wake County area, particularly Cary, and thoughts about the Real Estate industry.
