Top 5 Mistakes New Agents Make

No Business Plan
Not taking the time to learn the skills and tools they need to succeed
Poor financial planning (think...I need at least 90 days of living expenses...at least)
Not knowing WHY they are in the business (WHY is you motivation.....and it is not often money....)
Marketing is based on waiting for business, not going after it

Making a business plan is what I believe to be the most important thing that someone should do. I'm glad you put it at number one.
