WOW!  I have not been blogging because of the other work we have to attend to as well as completing CE and Technology training.  On Friday, February 15, 2008 we had the distinct pleasure of having Dick Betts, a Real Estate National Speaker, give the Searcy Board of Realtors a full days worth of technology training.  This is the third time our Board has hired Dick for special training for our agents.  You can contact Dick at www.DickBetts.com.  You can read all of the classes he has to offer there and I highly recommend him.

One of the many things that he presentd was the ePro course for Realtors.  I personally feel I already have a geat deal of training in the internet but he has shown me the benefit of getting this desigantion. I am a strong believer in education and have already obtained my ABR, GRI and CRS early on in my career.  I'll keep you posted when there are topics in that course that may be of interest to this forum.

If you have been in the real estate business and have not taken any further educational training in the past five years, other than your CE REQUIREMENTS, then shame on you.  This business is growing like crazy and you can't give your clients and customers COMPLETE service if you are not trained to do it.  Get some education today!  This course was FREE to our complete memberhsip of about 110 and only 21 agents showed up!  As the old saying goes "we can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink" .  Education will also help you communicate better with fellow Realtors.
