Given what people say is the current negative state of the industry, I notice that those who believe this tend to be less positive, more skeptical, and generally pessimistic.

When things are down, people seem to be down as well. But in this business, we can't afford that.

My question is, in the market as it is or is said to be, do you find people in the business to be optimistic, pessimistic etc....and how do you feel about it?

Dennis,

Most people are like the weather...grey, pessimistic, skeptics, chronic complainers...Rise above, stay positive, work hard, and take advantage of the 'hares' among us!!! Thanks,   Fran

I have found that when enough people are given bad information they follow.

What the consumers need to know is the Market is fat right now with an oversupply of listings.

Nows the time to buy folks!

Interst rates are as low as 5.3%

Thank you!

People flip flop.  You have to see the glass half full.  It is a great market for people to buy.  Great inventory and rates are the lowest in how many years.  Buyers need to go for it.

Real estate is local. I thought I would have to do a lease/purchase agreement instead of selling a condo because of the market. Nope! My agent (Toni Murphy from ActiveRain) says the market is fine in South Jersey. And here I was thinking I wouldn't be able to sell! In the right area and with the right agent....piece of cake.
