I like a good glass of wine, and like it even better when it's free! Luckily there are plenty of opportunities for free wine tastings around the city. These are just some of them I have heard of:

CVS Pharmacy (75& Stateline) : I've been to this one and as crazy as it sounds to have a wine tasting at CVS, there is usually quite a crowd packed into the alcohol section with various wines and usually a few appetizers.

Berbiglia : I've been to a couple of these at their Stateline location. Very good selection of wine and usually some beer and alcohol. It's free, but it does "sell out" so make sure you RSVP for a reservation.

Gomers: I haven't attended, but I have shopped at the store before!

Local Wine Events Website: It doesn't look like this site is widely used, but there are some postings for the Kansas City area!
