Yes, every company and person wants to grow.  But how do you grow in these highly
competitive, rapidly changing, pressured times?

Everyone has some unnecessary costs that need to be re-aligned, and some time-wasting procedures that need to be corrected.  Do you know people that need to be motivated, coached, or fired.

This I do know, you can't get more and more out of people if you're not putting
something into them.  Old wise tales say, "You can't get water from an empty well."

And I would suggest that one of the best things to put into people would be
"prescriptive Learning plans."  Oh sure, who doesn't want a decent paycheck and good benefits, but
humans also are looking for opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

So ask these questions.

Is the company you work for giving you enough educational opportunities?

And..

What have you learned in the past year?

If a person is unable to answer, you're not doing enough to keep fulfillment, and chances are you should be looking for another employer who will."

Winning companies are intentional and always looking for ways to develop people to be real leaders and to take action. There's will be a noticeable difference in the people's spirit, commitment, and effectiveness.

So, include "Learning time" in your day, and schedule.

Happy Planning.

I wish the government would learn to do more with less.

Chris that would be great. There idea is  a multi billion dollar plan at 600-1200 a person to dump back into retail.....go figure.....people can't pay their mortgage and they are encouraging them to go buy a flat screen tv.

Our company does certain things to help agents get started.   But they have to make a profit.  They have weekly new agent training which is great.

Lu - I always try and learn something everyday! It's good to grow.

Lu- I read a lot about my craft and I take classes when I can on all kinds of subjects.  Learning is the best!
