My husband and I went to see 27 Dresses and it was wonderful!  I loved the sarcasm, cynicism, and creativity so unexpected in a "girl movie".  I was surprised by the character development as well.  I suppose I always go to a "chick flick" expecting something predictable, gooey and tolerably trite.  So, I was delightfully surprised by this witty film.  (My husband went because I've been so "blah" and he wanted to cheer me up, but ended up laughing as hard as I did.)  You will enjoy this film and probably even see it more then once.  Don't forget the popcorn  :)

That's great. I've been dying to see it myself, but No one I know has seen it, and I always like to get an opinion.  Hope you get over the blahs soon.

I was going to see it two weeks ago but plans got changed! I hope to see it sometime this month with some friends. It looks great and I love Katherine Heigl! Maybe I can convince my hubby to go instead...

Men go and see chick flicks all the time. I don't even like the term to be honest, but what I really can't stand are "bonet" movies - you know the ones I mean!!

I watched "Saving Sarah Cain" with my wife last night. Does that count?

Sarah, That's great that he went.  They have us go to the blood and guts movies, so why can't they go to our chick flicks.  Wonderful.  A REAL man WILL go with his partner.

Thanks for the post. Haven't seen the movie yet, I like P.S: I LOVE YOU. Is it the same kind of movie?

Loved it. Glad I did a search as I was just going to write a blog about it. It was very cute and I took my 12 year old who liked it as well. She even liked the dresses.  Loved the leading man...too cute!

Sarah, tell your husband it is OK to like Chick Flicks. I know a ton that had to go see Two Week Notice.

I'm a guy and I totally loved this movie!  The part where they sing in the bar is totally worth the $$  I laughed so hard I had tears running down my face!

My husband will not admit to liking "chick flicks."  Actually, he won't go to the movies, waits until everything comes out on DVD.  Maybe that way no-one will  know he actually likes them!  :)

Way to be real man, Justin!!!!  It was funny, but my favorite part was the "slide show".  LOL  :)

It's rare when my hubby likes a chick flick enough to say so.  The two he has liked are Nottinghill and Serendepity.  Try those on your hubby and let me know what he thinks.  If he likes them, then I won't have to wait till my husband is out with his friends to watch 27 Dresses.
