This time when I checked the new listings for January, there were about 87, and 10 were already PENDING.  That's a pretty good sign that properties are selling in South Maui. 

This picture is of the Palms at Wailea condo complex, which is a very popular vacation resort destination in sunny Wailea Maui.  Currently there are 18 active and pending listings here, with an average price of $944,277 and starting at $720,000 for 1 and 2 bedroom condos.  This is one of my favorite condo developments on Maui.  The grounds are so beautiful and the units have a nice layout.  The master suites are very luxurious and spacious, and the covered lanais are large.

South Shore Condo Newsletter  - January 2008  

Well another year has gone by and the market news is good for Maui condos.  Overall condo prices are showing a 4% increase from the previous year, and that's 5% for Kihei alone.  21% more units sold in 2007 compared to 2006.  Good news for condo owners.  NOW is a really good time to be buying a Maui condo.  Here are some new listings from the past month.  As I'm looking through the new listings to feature here, I see that some well priced ones are already Pending.  So for this month I am going to feature these Pending listings to indicate what is selling, and for what price.  If you're thinking of buying now, be sure to contact me for other listings that are still available in addition to these ones.  Don't forget... back up offers DO work.
