Where does my website go from here?

I put together my website, so now what?!

All this talk about Google Juice....How do I get it? And what about yahoo juice?

Which is better...P1, P5, or CP3O? How do I get it moving in the right direction?

Outbound links...why do I want people clicking off and leaving my website?

Other links....do I want to load my website up with other links?

SEO...Where to start, and have I been doing ok with my site the way it is?

Is there any immediate improvements I can make to get recognition on yahoo.com & google?

It seems like there is so much stuff on SEO, moving up in the search engines, etc...that I don't know where to go.

I feel paralized.

Any help would be greatly appreciated if someone could take a look at my website and let me know what i can do to help it along.

Good Luck I have been working on mine for about 2 years. I finally went with a company called Myers internet and they have a templeted site and they help you with getting it optimized. I also signed up for traffic blazer through Godaddy.com and they have helped me work on it. I am moving up slowly but surely. Check mine out www.mikekellyjr.com I would be happy to link exchange with you so that we can improve our inbound links.

Another option is to go to a company like advanced access and give them your money to get you noticed.

Starting a google adwords campaign is pretty good as well just set a monthly budget and you will get some quality hits.

Site looks good, I have included a link for google webmasters

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

It helped me get to the first page on google for several keywords.

Joe, it's a familiar tale you're telling.  Sometimes it seems like two parts voodoo and a cup of mojo.  Keep searching here, there are plenty of great insights to go around.

Joseph - I have been working with Brad, Leslie and Bobby at Dakno.  They have been wonderful in building my site and telling me how to do everything.  Please do something good for yourself and give them a call.  Try Brad@Dakno.com.

Best of luck to you!

I have found that having diversity on my site helps to drive traffic from search engines.  Plus, by including more than 'just' real estate my site is appealing to a larger audience.  When you provide links make sure they open in a separate window and not take visitors away from your site.

Joe, there is a ton of information on Active Rain about SEO. I'm tooting my own horn here, but in my first AR blogs I tried to start with beginning site SEO and help people work their way into it. You may want to check them out.

Joesph-C-3PO is best! (Big Star Wars fan here). :) I'm with you, I need to do some major website work, but don't know where to start. I would shy away from agent to agent link exchanges, it will get you into the penalty box with Yahoo and Google. Listen to Kay Frenzer, she knows her stuff!

I am starting to change some things about my site hoping to boost search results.

Does anyone know of a way to see what people are searching google & yahoo for? Like what search terms and phrases they use?

Joe, go to the Google Keyword Tool and enter something like "Bucks Country Real Estate." It will show you related searches - it doesn't give numbers but uses graphs. You can also use Overture, which does show numbers, but it's hard to get through to.

Kay,

I will try this, but I scoured thru pages and pages on google for the exact search term Bucks County Real Estate to not find myself. I think I stopped at 50 pages or something.
