You know when I started out in real estate I never imagined that I would be trainer other agents how to make money. I mean what do I really know for only being in the business for a little over two years. Well I know that I don't know everything and that might be it. See all I new was what I was taught as I went through the Leader's Choice program. I treated it as if it were the real estate sales bible course.

See when I moved to Jacksonville I didn't know anyone besides my fiance and her family. And her family lives in a small town on the outskirts of Jacksonville. So the only way for me to make money was to talk to fsbo's, expired and do all the things that most people hate to do. And I knew that I didn't have to do it for the rest of my days in real estate if I didn't want to. But I think the thing that helped me most was having a vision of things that I  really wanted to accomplish in a short period of time.

I set my goals no longer than two months so I don't lose focus. I keep track of my results just as if I were running any other business. I had a set plan of what I wanted to take care of from morning until the evening. I had set business hours and the weekends were part of those hours. There is a ton of things that I had learned from Mark. And when I put all of them into use that is when the business had flowed.

I've only been in the business for a little over two years and I was Top Lister for the Region, Top Producer to many times to count. Closing over 53 transactions in 07 which was a ruff market for most agents. And I have to say that out of that number only 1 of them was a short sale. I never worked with buyers unless they had sold their house through me. But what do I know about real estate? I don't admit that I know a whole lot, but I know the basics on how to get things done in fewer hours while having more fun and making more money.

And the whole reason of what I experienced is the reason that I want to teach other people on how to do the same thing. I believe that if I can teach others how to bring out the greatness in themselves that, that would satisfy me the most. So if I can help you in any way feel free to give me a call.

Wishing you greatest success!

Great story, and it can only come from focus and a lot of good old fashioned hard work. Congrats on your success.

cheers

I'll keep you in mind.  I think a major issue we face is the sheer number of real estate companies and agents in such a small area.  Like you I got my license in a 'new' town where we knew no one, talk about challenging!
