I didn't quite have a New Year's Resolution this year, but these are the things I would like to do in 2008.
#6 I've never visited anyone in prison before. I heard some people say that to bring books on your visit to give as gifts to a prisoner may enlighten their day. I would like to do that this year.
#8 I'm thinking of a senior home care place. I used to do that. Our seniors love to have somebody to talk to. It is often a rewarding experience to talk to them because you get to learn a lot from their experience. This is one of my favorite volunteer activities.
#2 I make it a point to make a phone call (aside from sending cards) to old customers on their special occasions: birthday, anniversary, etc., to give them my wishes. They often love to hear from their professional friend, who treat them more than just a statistical customer.
#9 and #10, I haven't figure out how to accomplish these yet. Perhaps you might have some advice or could share your experience? Please!!!
