I am coordinating a book with about a dozen real estate co-authors to be released this spring.  I am scanning the blog world for contributors.  Would you be interested?

If you are, please review the list of potential topics is below.  You are free to come up with additional topics if you wish.  The book will be focused on the new ways of doing the business of real estate in the digital age...how the old ways can be restructured to fit...how new methods are becoming imperative.  You - my blogging colleagues are the experts.  This book will bring some of your expertise to a larger number of agents.

• How to choose a template website company

• How to build your own website

• Search engine optimization

• Pay per click and other web advertising

• New communication challenges with your sphere of influence and referral based leads

• Social media and its affect on the real estate industry

• Using mobile tech tools such as PDAs and smart phones to get away from the office and give ultimate service to clients

Below you will find a list of topics committed and the co-authors already involved in the project:

• Moving toward a 100% internet lead generation - Brian Block

• Learning to speak the new language of internet enabled buyers --- Kathi Frank

• Using internet tools to serve the seller - Natalie Langford

• Virtual assistants - how to select, hire and delegate - Sarah Reiter

• How to achieve and maintain balance - avoid digital addiction - and still use the tools - Renee Burrows

• New time management issues, now that we truly can be "wired" 24/7 - How to cope - Allison Stewart

Increase your credibility by becoming a published author.  Your current and prospective clients will be impressed that you are respected in your field enough to be involved in training other real estate agents.  Sell the books in both digital and printed form at a profit...if you wish.  Contact me and I will tell you more.  Limited spots are available, so don't delay.`

Kathy, I would love to do the Chapter on Pay Per Click if you need someone.

Kathi, as you know, I'm quite excited about this project and posted my own call today to get more co-authors.  Both Cindy and Missy are excellent bloggers and would make great additions to the roster of authors.

This looks like a real ambitious project to gather some good web 2.0 info all in one place. Will keep an eye out for the finished product in the spring.

Kathy;

I would love to write the section on using tech tools - I almost exclusively use my tools to do my business away from the brick and mortar bounds of my office and am always researching new ways to utilize what I have for the least amount of money. I will email you with my contact info - or reach me at carrie.heath@prudentialbenrudrealty.com, or jestduck1@yahoo.com, or my cell at 715*215*0972.

Have a beautiful day!

Hi Kathi,

I sent you an email without being logged in...

Could I write one on "How to convert online leads" ?

Either way, I'd love to be involved.

Regards,

Lance.

Hey John, You say that the project is ambitious.  But the load is lightened when we carry it together.  This is going to be a great book because of all the wonderful people involved.

Joey, Faina, Carrie and Lance: Thanks for your interest.  Each of you have some really great ideas.  I feel blessed to have so many talented people wanting to get involved.  I should be able to get back to you by mid-week.

Someone recommended that I sign up to participate in this book. I am not an "author" but I have been playing with website design for years and in regards to that I can bring a different approach that would help the person that wants to go it alone without the help of a web designer and give them ideas and perspectives on what they can do on their own and what they may want help with. My webiste is found at www.ednailor.com and I have several more that I have personally created. I don't know if this is what you seek, or if you want a "professional" web designer. I just know that a professional might be daunting to some.

Fabulous idea, Kathi.  By sharing the load, you not only get the book written with less struggle, but you also have a group with the skills and incentive to promote it.
