Super Easy Way to Raise Your Credit Score!

I was given this information by a mortgage broker over a year ago and have shared it with everyone I know. Its so simple and painless! Everyone I have shared this with was amazed so I thought I would post it in my blog so I could share it with even more people

Just go to www.optout.com and fill out the form to opt out of all credit card offers. This can increase your credit score by 10 points within 30 days!! And the extra bonus is your mailbox will no longer be flooded with credit card offers that you have to shred to throw away.

If you ever decide you need a new credit card its quite simple to find the same "deals" on the internet that you would get in the mail.

I also think from a identity theft standpoint this just makes good sense!

Great advice Kay! I didn't know that credit card OFFERS even lowered a person's score. That's crazy!

When I was told about this I was honestly skeptical. So I went online and did it. Within 30 days I was notified that my score went up due to me opting out of all credit offers. And it is so wonderful not to get all the junk in the mail. I know people I have told about it are very happy! The thinking must be the less offers you get in the mail the less tempted you are to get too many credit cards?
