Thank you for your reply.  No, it is not necessary to have a separate license for houseboat sales, but it is a very specialized field.  Escrow, lending, inspections, moorage ownership or lease, all of these parts are different from single family homes or condos and there is quite a learning curve.  I live in the community myself and that is how I became an expert.  I love living here.  It is a terrific way of life.  Other than the on the water lifestyle, one of the best parts about it is that it is much more social than living on land...
