I am debating whether to show three homes to a client today. She is really nervous about missing out on a home in one particular neighborhood that she likes because she missed one already.
Actually working this morning but for only a half day, heading to my inlaws, with my wife and 3 daughters all of us on a couch in front of "A Christmas Story" with hot wassail to drink.
We will come home then prior to going to bed we will go online to track Santa Clause on NORAD's website this is somewhat of a tradition and if you would like to go there google track santa and follow the links... its very convenenient because Santa usually hits New York at around 10 central and i can talk the girls in getting to bed.
I am working on a couple of draft posts, playing with my son's dog (babysitting the Boston terrier), sending some new comps to a seller, and drinking a lot of coffee! Enjoy the day!
Hi Kay- I am jealous. I am already at work, and have family staying at my house while I am here. I would love to do any one of those things you have listed, but know I won't get to those items until the weekend.
We were planning on doing nothing, because my mother-in-law cancelled our regular Christmas Eve celebration. (hello, passive aggressive!) But she just decided to UNCANCEL it, so now we are going there.
I could use some of that wassail or one of those Kahlua cakes (hold the cake)!
I took my oldest (of 2) sick kid to the doctor's--he has bronchitis and strep throat! Gotta get to Walgreens to get him some meds. BUT, we're all still going to my mother's tonight to open some family gifts, then home to go to sleep and hope Santa puts in an appearance at our house. Merry Christmas!
Just cooked breakfast for my girlfriend, her mother, her mother's boyfriend and myself. Reading a few blogs in order to give myself some time for my stomach to settle, then I'm going to hit the elliptical machine. Later on, I've got to cook the family Christmas dinner...
I am going to finish up here on Active Rain and then I have to deliver about 20 goodie bags to my brokerage and Mike's techs plus some people at my old brokerage. My husband has just taken many days off in a row (I am loving this) so the weather looks splendid to spend a couple of hours at the doggie park with our friends and pups. I will be putting on the prime rib before we leave. When we get back I look forward to a glorious dinner and evening with my teenage children!
Hi Kay, Merry Christmas. I am usually the hostess for Christmas Eve but my niece is doing the hostessing. We are going there after we go to our church and see our grandchildren in the Christmas pageant. This afternoon I am designing a card for my husband about a trip my son and I are giving him. Of course, I am going on the trip too. All my shopping is done and wrapped. This has made it an easy day for me. I feel kinda guilty.
Let's see. I faxed an offer to a seller this morning and am waiting for a response. I've already been to Wal-Mart and purchased the last minute gifts along with food that I have to prepare for tonight. My 10 year old daughter helped me finish up the last of the wrapping and now I have to run to Best Buy for some more blank DVDs I forgot this morning. When I get back I've got to clean the kitchen from the cookie decorating yesterday and start cooking for tonight.
Hi Kay, we are in Colorado at my sisters getting ready to go pick my husband up from the airport. Both kids are here also. Our son flew in from Austin (being stationed at Fort Hood) and our daughter from NYC. It is great to all be together this Christmas as next Christmas our son will be back in Iraq. Merry Christmas!!
We've been getting ready for family to show up tomorrow... some arrived this afternoon, so we've been catching up. They're off to visit friends so we have a few minutes of peace. :) I think the boss and I are going to go slip in the hot tub for a bit before they come back. haha. Have a great Christmas, Kay!
Today I will be doing these things:
- staying home with my two fabulous dogs
- not answering the phone unless it's a necessity
- playing on the computer
- watching movies
- relaxing
- reflecting on the last year and what I want to do better/differently in 2008
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2008!
