PPC Newbie

I have to say that the past few months have been extremely busy but I am ready to finally put together a PPC campaign to help drive traffic to my site. I've started doing research on different options out there and it appears that Google by far is the most favorable option out there. I am interested though in hearing about other people's experiences with PPC campaigns from Yahoo and MSN. Both of these still have a decent market share in search engine traffic but what sort of results do you get from the campaigns or does anyone even use them?

The Saskatoon real estate market is a competitive market with a lot of agents already using PPC as well as some online tools to generate traffic to their sites. As I am new to PPC I am eager to learn from others experiences in hopes to make my efforts as effective as possible. Any information you may be willing to share would be great. Thanks!

Kari, what is the PPC running? Here in Baton rouge I spend between 3 and 4 dollars.

And yes Google is the way to go.

In Southern California, Google dominates. Yahoo/MSN/Ask are relatively minor players by comparison. We could not rely on just Yahoo/MSN/Ask for clicks. After much experience with all of them, I like the Google interface best of all as it allows a lot of control. In our market, one has to be prepared to pay huge sums of money to get into the PPC thing. For us, it's just a cost of doing business.
