Awesome Ginger!!!!  I had clients that did the same thing, then upon my expert consultation :-) hauled about half their furniture back to the vacant and I staged.  There are realtors and there are realtors eh?

Kathy, thanks for the comments.  The sellers even supplied the silks.  If you look at the before photo of the kitchen you will notice an extreme excess above the kitchen cabinets.  I filled four 3x8x3 baskets with excessive silks and didn't touch the downstairs game room collection.  Hopefully they'll donate many of them to my business when the house sells, or I'll buy them CHEAP.  It truly is very unique!  Kind of a take your breathe away for those of us in CA where water is so rare.

Thanks Fernando it is a great place.  Can't take much credit for the sofas, except that the sellers wanted me to use their black leather set and I asked for the white leather instead.  The place really was dark and cold and the white helps "defuse" the very plush burgundy carpeting.  I LOVE using burgundy as my accent for many homes.

 The nice thing is that I already had many burgundy accents and accessories and those that I had to purchase will fit it great with my inventory.  A real PLUS.

Ginger ~ What a great job you did making this home warm and inviting!  It does look just like a tree house and I love how you did the bedroom....I want to stay there and hear the water in the creek gurgling!  What is the asking price of this property, if you don't mind my asking?  What a location!

I have seen this before, but the realtor told them to get rid of it, so the clients then had to rent furniture. After I staged the property the realtor was fired. TRUE STORY. The house sold in 4 days after being on the market for 9 months without staging.

Me too Maureen, but actually it has too many stairs for us old folks.. the creekside setting and the 2+ acres of property are absolutely awesome.  Have to admit that I revisit this one whenever I'm driving by.  The current price is $910,000. It could NEVER be replaced for this price.  The property alone, I would guess is probably worth $400,000.  But then I'm not a realtor.  Can you tell how much I loved it?  Have to go back this week, now that we've had substantial rain...I'll bet the creek is a roaring torrent!  Wish I knew how to put video clips on AR so members could hear the sound.  

Phyllis, the second realtor on this property was foolish.  Glad to hear that you had great results with your similar job.  I love having my inventory in this house but I also hope, for the seller's, that it moves soon.  Thanks for stopping in.
