Today's Meeting...

Today's meeting is the first in a 2 part series on planning your business for 2008. I have a whole lot of info. Does anyone have any stuff to share? I am looking for powerpoint presentations or word docs. All of the stuff Buffini, Robers and those guys do is about the same. I am looking for stuff a little out of the ordinary.

One of the topics today is pools to fish in. Does anyone have any special niches that they market?

My favorite is senior widows. Everyone on my list gets a box of Valentines Day candy every year. I get the names from the tax records. Seniors get a $50 real estate tax credit and widows (or widowers) get a $50 real estate tax credit. I just match up the two lists.

In the coming weeks, I am working in my 2008 Business Plan that I am sure will blow about every other broker out of the water in my area. No one is going to be as ready as I am.

Bruce-

Great question/Great post! I needed the reminder to work on goals for this upcoming year. While I don't much care for the hard work, I have had to delve again into the pre-foreclosure niche--simply b/c the Sellers I work with are having difficulty. My favorite Buyer niche is first-timers. So, I think this next year will be lots of Buyer Seminars and Open Houses.
