My wife accompanied me for a Saturday evening drive through the Woods of Kildaire, Cary, NC. Many of the photos show the development of dusk, and the quietude of life in a wooded preserve.

Woods of Kildaire is a mature affordable neighborhood in the center of Cary, NC. Woods of Kildaire is situated off the SW Cary Parkway. Access to the neighborhood is also available from Kildaire Farm Road, and through MacGregor Downs. Access and egress to and from the neighborhood are convenient.
Raleigh and NC State University are about a 15-20 minute commute. The Research Triangle Park, "RTP," is about 25 minutes. Heavy drive-time traffic can lengthen those times.

Woods of Kildaire was developed in the mid-1970's through the 1980's. Many pleasant classic 1.5 and two-story homes, along with a variety of contemporary styles comprise Woods of Kildaire, with home sizes ranging from 2200 to 3900 square feet. As the photos depict, Woods of Kildaire is heavily wooded with a mix of mature hardwoods, and huge pine trees.

Typical amenities include 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 baths, beautiful 1/3 to .5+ acre heavily wooded lots, garages, natural gas heat, and a winding suburban cul-de-sac street development.

This great location has great access to shopping along main thoroughfares, beautiful large heavily-wooded lots, and affordable value. These characteristics make Woods of Kildaire a superb choice for buyers wanting a fine home in Cary, North Carolina. See my Woods of Kildaire slideshow on Flickr.
This profile is offered to allow you to sample the essence of Woods of Kildaire. I do not currently have any homes listed for sale in the neighborhood.
Mike,
What an interesting subdivison - the contemporary homes mixed in with the colonials and more traditional homes is neat. Definitely not your typical cookie cutter subdivision that is all to common in NC these days.
