TRUTH: Beams can be harmful to our health.

The Chinese have studied the effects of seen and "unseen" ENERGY in the environment and on human beings for thousands of years.

Beams in a room break the natural flow of energy and create what is referred to as poison daggers and arrows. This kind of downward energy (off of a beam) can be the source of headaches, migraines, memory loss, eye problems and/or insomnia if located over the head region of a bed. If a beam is located over the upper torso (over time) it can affect the heart, lungs and/or shoulder areas of this region. A beam located over the legs can affect the knees, bones, joints and feet of the body. A beam that divides a bed in two, is believed to cause separation and/or marital strife.

TIP: To lessen the negative effects of a beam, there are several things you can do. You can paint a bean white, add an overhead ceiling fan, hang a couple crystals (or any object from the beam) to spin or break the downward pressure. I have found over the years, that the (two) best ways to remedy beams, in homes and offices, are to bull-nose (round) the edges or dry wall them in, completely.
