Just a reminder to everybody, ActiveRain will be hosting the carnival of real estate next monday on this blog.  This means that I'll be spending most of my Sunday reading through real estate related blog posts.  So, I'm expecting a lot of good posts from all the "rainers" to give those "outside bloggers" a run for their money :)

Submissions are due by noon on Sunday...

Update:

For those of you have never heard of the Carnival of Real Estate here is some more information.

I have a question.  Why does the "Number" of comments seem to show 1 less than there actually is?

"The Carnival is the pervue of professionals, a stage of skill, a tribulation of talent. I surely doubt an Active Rain blog could win." http://therealestateguide.blogspot.com

Actually in all seriousness - OMG don't encourage 10,000 people to submit posts, how will you read them all???????

Matt, I'm on the same ship with Roberta. We floated off to sea and have no clue what this carnival is all about. Care to elaborate and bring us up to speed?

Matt:  "A Blog Carnival is a weekly summary of the best blogging posts on a given subject...."

My confusion: What is the subject?

The subject is "real estate" anything that falls into that broad category (like almost everything posted on AR) is eligable for submission.

Ah, how the submissions are starting to come in, I guess I'll have a busy day tomorrow.

I, too, hope an Active Rain blog wins, especially when it was said that they surely doubt one of ours could win!  Go AR bloggers!!

How cool is that?  Congrats guys on hosting the Big Top!

Now I wouldn't say we are outsiders as many of us are members here and post on here  as well however, some of us just learned the hard way and saw our articles on AR and had o remove them due to the duplicate content mess. I personally love the AR format better - better feedback and all, but it kills my own site's rankings having my mess on both sites so I had a choice to make. Outsiders my butt, I'm just an inactive rainer!

The carnival is now up at Carnival of Real Estate - 22nd edition.  That was difficult getting it down to even ten blog posts, and then deciding a winner was much harder.  In the end I just went with a post that seemed to stick out from the pack because it was a fun read.
