Have Your Internet Prospects Been TRICKS or TREATS Lately???

I don't want all my loyal readers to think
I've fallen off the face of the planet lately (I've missed you too)
I've just been dealing with TRICK or TREATERS...

It isn't Halloween yet you say? You could have fooled me!

Please know that I am normally not one to complain about a prospect, who in their right mind would? But lately I can't decide whether mine have been TRICK or TREATERS!

Take a spin for yourself....

Prospect #1 aka The Addams Family: My husband and I will be moving to Kansas City in the next 6-7 months. (from where I couldn't ever get out of her) Initially we intend to live in a rental home that we will purchase, so could you send me all the homes for sale in Missouri and Kansas under 40K.

Prospect #2 aka Penny Dreadful and the Count: My wife and I are moving to Kansas City and we're approved for 209K. We'd like you to go ahead an look up to 350K for us, and find one where the seller would pay all the closing costs because we don't have any money.

Prospect #3 Definitely the Bride of Frankenstein: I want a house JUST LIKE this 550K one, MLS#_____, but I only want to pay 350K.

It seems most days lately I've been smelling a lot of feet.

I've been lucky lately - no Halloween scaries for me. I would still respond to them and help educate them about your market.

Well Happy Halloween! I've been dealing with a few of my own Goblins lately. LOL!
There are 2 couples: The Munsters - Can't agree on anything - are way far apart on what they like, think every little tiny scratch or bump in a 70 year old house is a MAJOR DEFECT.
Mr and Mrs. Lowballer - think they can buy a house for 140,000 less than list, because there are no "other offers" on it, it's been on the market over 30 days and they are hearing on the news that they can get this deal NOW, or they can get that other house for 40,000 less than list - even though it's been on the market only 3 days and already has 2 other offers on it!

Fran - I got a call from a couple a few months back who had heard the news that the real estate market was on the verge of collapse. They wanted me to find them properties they coulod buy for 200K to 300K under market value. I told them I would be buying them if they were available. Good post. Welcome back!

Fran, you have a problem with those Buyers???? Hey they are breathing what more could you ask for ........LOL

What you need to tell them is that this is only Halloween, and they need to wait for Christmas for those deals :)

Maybe they're are getting there advise from TV Gurus. Ex: Suzi Orman made the suggestion that if a house is listed at $200,000 offer $125,000. (Of course if the Sellers pay the closing cost you got it made) lol.
