Hi Mike.  Now it looks like Maine!  Ironically, we have clear & sunny skies here today.

Mike, glad to hear you have some rain.  So have you been dry, dry like Georgia?  We have had an incredibly rainy year, too bad we can't spread the fun.  We had so much rain my husband ended up putting in a french drain to divert some of the water.

We got a couple of inches, and the question came up..."Is the drought over?"

We need something like 24" to be at normal, with the Falls Lake Reservoir down over 8 feet.

The rain was great.  The plants and grass in our yard really needed it.  My husband disappeared with his kayak for 3 days while it rained and came back with the biggest grin I think I have ever seen.  Time to break out the rain dance again, though!
