After the recent security breach of the Illinois licensee database I urge real estate professionals to put a seven year fraud alert with the credit agencies instead of the 90 day alert.  Anyone interested in identity theft will most likely wait at least 90 days after they've stolen the information.  So far agents from my office have had purchases made on our credit cards without their knowledge.

This is so ridiculous.  This is the same agency that wants to be in control of credit counseling for new homebuyers.  If I'm the buyer, I definitely don't want this agency having any of my personal info....
