I was reading Cheryl Johnson's post WordPress-Image-Alignment-In-Code and thought that was a good way to align pictures.

However, when I went to add another theme to my already list of twenty thousand themes in my wp-content themes folder I found a pretty slick way to make the images align a different way. I have learned a lot by going to Chuck Pearson's blogsite.

He says the following:

Once you’re in the code view, the first thing you need to do is locate the img tag for the image that you want to change. You should find something that looks like this:

  1. <img src="http://path/to/your/image" />

To apply the proper image styling class, all you have to do is add the code shown in blue:

  1. <img class="left" src="http://path/to/your/image" />

For those of you that are like me and like to see things visually I have inserted a little tutorial on how to accomplish this step. It may take a little while to load, please be patent

Due to the small frame view in the video make sure you use your scroll bar to scroll down as the video makes the scroll bar go to the top of the page and you might want to adjust the scroll bar if you can't see parts of the video.

Picture alignment

I hope you enjoyed this and I hope it works for you.

I can follow the tutorials he's posted (very easy to follow) to get mine to work, but to read and try it...never. I do good just to turn my computer on some days! I'm over my loss last night, so for tonight it's Go Red Sox!

Jay:  Well done!  The video is great!  All this could lead into some posts on beginning CSS  <s>

PS  The sound and image quality in the video are excellent.  I'll have to take a look at Jing.

Thank you Cheryl, I purchased a microphone with a head set from Logitech at Staples for $40.00. The TV was on in the background and the miicrophone was good enough to muffle it out.

Thanks Jay
