I still have not seen the film, The 11th Hour, because it did not come to my hometown.. one of the downfalls of living in a small town.  However, this small town does not get the drastic weather and effects that some parts of the country get.. due to the environmental impact.  So I guess I should be thankful for that, and the fact that in many, many respects I prefer the small town perks for daily living (less hectic and crowded) especially.

There are green articles, green segments on TV, green radio announcements, lots of green support across the country.  The word is getting out that we, as individuals, can make a huge impact when all of our efforts are combined.  Any little thing you can do, including switching brands of cleaning products, will help our planet.

Healthier, safer home cleaning choices help us in a great way as well.  Ridding our homes of harmful chemicals, toxins and fumes makes the air we breathe a lot healthier.  It has a positive effect on sufferers of asthma, allergies, other respiratory illnesses and even reproductive problems and cancer.  This is important stuff!

Buying concentrated cleaning products eliminates the manufacture of many, many pounds of bottles and containers that end up in landfills.  Why not add your own water to a spray bottle and save the environmental impact of manufacture and shipping what is going to be discarded very soon.  This alone has tremendous effects on cleaning the environment. 

Lots to think about and choices to make. :)
