There are many communities in northwest Arizona, but it seems that none can surpass the quiet beauty and charm of the communities in the Arrowhead area.  Arrowhead's homes radiate inner warmth and its quality of life is unmeasured.  There are many golf course properties as well as lake and horse properties!  Of course, I may be somewhat partial having been a resident now for more than 15 years! 

Area communities include Arrowhead Ranch, Hillcrest Ranch, Arrowhead Lakes, Sierra Verde, Sonoma, The Legend, and Highland Lakes, just to name a few!  There are many new homes being built in neighboring communities such as Stetson Valley making Arrowhead Ranch an even more desirable place to live.

Activities abound throughout the area including premier golf courses such as Arrowhead Country Club Golf Course and The Legend at Arrowhead (both courses designed by Arnold Palmer himself!).  In addition to golfing, there are two horseback riding stables where you can rent or board your own horse.  There are hiking trails, community parks where you may enjoy get togethers with family and friends, bar-b-queuing, or even a little league game.  Only minutes away from Lake Pleasant, you may enjoy fishing, camping, and a wide range of water sports.  In addition, for a weekend getaway, Arrowhead is only a few hours drive to Rocky Point, Mexico and the beaches of San Diego, California.

Shopping is plentiful around the Arrowhead area including Arrowhead Towne Center housing many major retailers such as Coach, Dillards, Hollister, and Macys, just to name a few.  There are many community schools; some have been rated as "excelling" schools 4 times in a row (greatschools.com) and there are many religious establishments of all faiths.

Below are the latest statistics in the Arrowhead marketplace regarding the number of listings in the area, their price range, square footage, as well as how many homes have sold in the past 6 months. 

Currently there are 261 homes on the market in the Arrowhead and surrounding area ranging in price from $219,000 for 1,234 square feet to $3,700,000 for 10,878 square feet.  The average price of a home is approximately $350,000 ranging from 3 to 4 bedrooms; square footage from 1730 to 2600.

141 homes have sold over the last six months ranging from $267,000 to $1,500,000.  The average home sold for approximately $350,000 with a square footage of 1900 to 2200.
